I-Shift makes driving easier, safer and more comfortable. No heavy clutch and heavy gear lever. Shifting is performed at the right time. The ease of use of the system reduces driver fatigue and helps you focus on road and traffic around you. If you wish to change gears manually, you can have direct control over the gear change with the button on the gear lever.

I-Shift is designed to save fuel. Internal power losses are lower than manual transmissions, but the electronic components make the difference. Shifting is performed at the right time. This enables the engine to operate in the most efficient speed range in economy or performance mode. In addition, when driving downhill, I-Roll can disable the engine to maximize truck momentum, resulting in an additional 2% fuel savings.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
This may seem strange to you. Underneath the I-Shift, the first example of modern gears, there is an unsynchronized old-style manual gear (which is why compact design and low internal power loss). But of course I-Shift has more than that. The secret lies in the intelligent electronic control unit. This unit is responsible for controlling the pneumatic system that manages the clutch and shifts. It provides precise information on every gear shift by constantly keeping track of vehicle speed, acceleration, weight, road class, torque demand and much more. In addition, the motor is constantly in contact with the speed and engine brake effect is adjusted to achieve a fast and comfortable shifting.

If you are driving in extremely demanding conditions, you can enjoy the enhanced I-Shift. Specially designed for driving on hilly terrain or on extremely hilly terrain with frequent slopes of more than 10%. I-Shift is now also available for conditions where there was no option other than manual transmission or automatic Powertronic.

Single wheel drive hub reduction

The axles with one wheel drive hub reduction are available for operations where the vehicle is started, floor clearance and high gross train weights are preferred. It manages vehicles and trains up to 80 tons of gross weight with gear ratios ranging from 3.80 to 7.18.
