John Deere 6R | Engine
High power output of the John Deere 4-cylinder 4.5 L (274.6 in3) engine and 6-cylinder 6.8 L (415 in3) engine with an injection pressure of up to 2500 bar (36,259.4 psi), this advanced, four-valve, Provided with high pressure common rail (HPCR) technology. The PVS engine on the 6175R, 6195R and 6215R models is equipped with a variable geometry turbocharger (VGT) that continuously increases performance and efficiency along the torque curve. PSS engines (6230R and 6250R) have a two-stage turbocharger system in which the pressure generated by a fixed-impeller turbocharger is multiplied by the VGT.
